Strict action for disobeying lockdown in Kolkata, hundreds arrested! Different figure in Parksarks

The Kolkata Police have strict measures to enforce lockdown. Police arrested 255 people on Monday for violating lockdown. Lockdown has been implemented in districts and municipalities across the state from 5pm on Monday.

Those arrested have been charged with violating government orders. Police claim that Naka Checking has been arranged at important places of the city.




The lockdown runs until March 27

Lockdown has begun in the state on Monday afternoon to prevent the transmission of the Corona virus. It will now run till March 12 at 12pm. However, sources say that could be further enhanced.

Application of Chief Minister and Police Commissioner

The Chief Minister has appealed to the common people to obey the government directive. Kolkata Police Commissioner Anuj Sharma has appealed to the common man to cooperate with the administration to maintain law and order. He also requested to be in the house. He also warned that strict action would be taken against the violators.
